one day, if life goes the way it’s supposed to, john and i will own a lovely place by the ocean. i don’t care much if it’s a tiny little shack with just the things we need, because i’ll know that a few times a year…we get to escape the routine.
and perhaps, if we’re lucky…this little shack will also be in the family for decade after decade {much like the comfy myrtle beach condo has been for john and his fam}. and then one day, way down the line, our grand kids will be able to bring their future spouses to our humble abode…and tell them all about the hours they used to spend in the inlets and botanical gardens with grandpa and grandma searching for fishes and animals of all sorts back when they were young .
